Exchanges Canada helps fund not-for-profit organizations that deliver youth exchanges and youth forums that awaken Canadian youth to our country’s diversity of cultures and languages, landscapes and lifestyles.
Youth exchanges are tailored to students and youth group members who are generally between 12 and 17 years of age. Participants spend time visiting and, sometimes, hosting partners of the same age who live in a different region of the country.

If you have individual students or youth group members who would rather set out on their own and work in their second official language for six weeks, review the opportunities for individual students and youth group members.
Youth forums are workshops and conferences that connect young adults generally between the ages of 14 and 25, who share a passion for Canadian institutions, history, official languages, sports or music. Participants meet in a central location and spend time exchanging ideas, learning about Canada and exploring a unique Canadian community.
